IMEI Number Check
In case, you are unsure about the IMEI number that you have in hand, you can confirm it by verifying it following five easy steps;
Step 1: Open the dialer on your phone
Step 2: Type *#06#
Step 3: A pop-up box will appear on your screen, as soon as the # is pressed
Step 4: The IMEI number can be found on your screen now
Step 5: If you have a dual-SIM, you will be given two IMEI numbers, as each SIM arrangement has a unique IMEI number.
PTA IMEI Verification
There are two different ways through which you can get your mobile phone Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) approved so that you can use it without having to face any problem.

- PTA IMEI check via website
PTA IMEI Check via SMS
In case you wish to get your mobile phone verified via SMS, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Open your text messages
- Send the IMEI number to 8484
After that, you would have to wait and you’ll receive a text message informing you about the approval status of your phone.
PTA IMEI Check via Website
To get your mobile phone verified via the website, you would be required to follow these steps;
- Open your browser and head to the PTA Mobile Verification website
- Enter your 15-digit IMEI number
- Click on the ‘Check’ button
Once you are done doing this, you would be redirected to the screen where you will be shown all the details of your mobile registration which would help you in completing the IMEI PTA registration process.
